2014 Alexander Valley Zinfandel

A bold Zinfandel exhibiting aromatics of currant, black olive, plum, graphite, and a slight smokiness. Full bodied with a pleasant balance of acid and fruit. Flavors of dried cranberry, currant, plum, and green tea, with hints of vanilla and anise. A finish of medium length reveals candied plum, nutty oak, as well as more vanilla and anise. Pairs perfectly with a creamy cow’s milk cheese or any form of barbecue.
