2016 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc - New Release!
Notes of lemon grass, white peach & marzipan combine with a hint of thyme to form the intriguing aromatic profile of this wine. Flavors of Kiwi fruit, lime zest & grapefruit are the foundation that leads to a bright finish with flinty minerality.
Manually harvested at night and in the cool mornings to ensure the fruit delivered to the winery arrives at a temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit or cooler. The grapes are immediately pressed using a gentle bladder press. The freshly pressed juice is then cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks. In order to preserve the aromatic complexities of the fruit, this Sauvignon Blanc does not undergo malolactic fermentation. After fermentation the wine is aged sur-lie in stainless steel tanks to add complexity and round out mouth feel.
